Police arrested 25 Secret cult Students during their intiation in Imo state.


Yesterday, 25 suspected Cultist students are arrested around 3.30am

at the Emii forrest near a river Owerri North Local Government area of the state
during  their  initiation.



They are aged between 19 - 32 and were apprehended with guns, charms and several masquerades with blood stains suspected to be human blood.


The Police Command in the State, Abdul Mojeed said  these boys were appended after a gun battle.

One of them said a friend asked him to follow him to another friend's place where he was served a bottle of drink and they both went to the bush near a river, he said some boys came and started beating them, Another Suspect said they were there for initiation and the initiation is by beating them and that they were blind-folded before all the process, he said during the initiation the Police came.

According to reports Tolani, a 300-level undergraduate in the Department of History and International Relations, was arrested the same day in his late father’s residence after the discovery of the corpse and police preliminary findings, where he  afterwards allegedly packed his father’s remains in a box and dragged them into the bush within the camp.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said the police later recovered the remains of the 60-year-old lawyer in a bush along Canaanland Street.

The suspect was said to have told policemen that problem arose when his late father confronted him for not responding to all the prayer points he (the deceased) was raising, adding that he (father) later slapped him.
He said he got angry and made a dash for the kitchen and picked up a knife, with which he stabbed his father, adding that he later used a cutlass on him.
It was learnt that the police had recovered the knife and cutlass used in committing the alleged crime.
Adejobi told our correspondent that the Charles’ corpse had been deposited at a morgue in the Sagamu area of the state.

Former CBN Gov. Emir Sanusi Lamido withdraw suits against FG



The case involving Mallam Sanusi Lamido and the federal Government  over the undue suspension/removal of him in the office as the CBN Governor has been withdrawn.

The New Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi said he has withdrawn the case with no reason that his not interested in the case anymore.

 FG on Friday expressed doubt over the withdrawal of the suit filed by the new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, challenging his suspension as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria on February 20.

The FG expressed the doubt at the National Industrial Court, when its counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), told the court that although he was not opposing Sanusi’s notice of discontinuance, the government was not sure of the former CBN governor’s next move.

Escape from the B/H's Incarcerated




According to report, Over 60 women and girls abducted last month by suspected Boko Haram militants in northeast Nigeria have escaped their captors.

The local vigilante group  senior Person, Abbas Gava said he had “received an alert from my colleagues … that about 63 of the abducted women and girls had made it back home” late Friday 5th July.

The Escape was confirmed by a high-level security source in the Borno state capital Maiduguri, who requested anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the matter.

Abbas who are working closely with security officials, told journalists the women escaped when their captors went out to fight.

Suspected Boko Haram leader have been killed in kaduna



 Nigerian Army busted a hideout in Kinkinau, Kaduna state, where a suspected BokoHaram leader was hiding.
The suspect and his men were believed to have engaged security operatives in a gun battle that lasted over one hour but the leader was killed as he tried to flee scene.

The Security Operatives commanded everyone including his family members to vacate the building  before they broke through the wall to engage him. The suspect which they said his name is USMAN
 According to The Nation, the suspect is believed to be one of the leaders of the Islamist sect who relocated from Borno state to Kaduna.

Neymar ruled out of Brazil World Cup 2014 after been injured



After the injury sustained from the match between Brazil the host country and Colombia. The 22-year old striker sustained a major back injury which affected his spinal cord and needed serious attention. 
He was quickly taken out for immediate treatment and frown back home ( Sao paulo)  in an helicopter for quick recovery.
