Champions league: United qualifies for quarter-finals



Manchester united are sweating on the fitness of RVP after their  comeback to knock out Olympiakos out of the competition...Robin Van Persie scored a hat-trick as United defeat Olympiakos to reach the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday.

The win gave United a 3-2 aggregate win and also gave the Manager David Moyes a relief off pressure.

President Jonathan said all the deceased families gets three automatic employment  slots in the immigration  and those injured get employment in the Service.

He also added that the exercise has been cancelled and a fresh test  will by handled under the  Chairmanship,Special Service Civil Commission. The Federal Executive Council sent their condolences to the families and those who sustained injures and express total regret of that these tragedy happened at all.

 The President said these through the Minister for Information Laban Maku.

Fire out break in lagos



Fire outbreak involving a Petroleum Tanker  and PHCN pole. One Person was trapped  and wounded during the incident.

An Eye witness said the Petroleum tanker wanted to make a turn to enter the filling station when the vehicles on queue did not allow it gain access into the filling station in the process an iron punctured the tank which way to the fuel to pour out and subsequently caught fire, the tanker was loaded with 33,000 litres of Petrol.

It was stated two cars, two buses and one other Jeep were burnt down completely during the incident.

NEMA information Officer, MR Ibrahim Farinloye said that the PHCN pole fell on the person because to the fire which affected the pole.
