The Commissioner for
Health Lagos State, Dr. Jide Idris paid a visit to Pastor TB Joshua of
Synagogue to advise him on the dreaded Ebola Virus disease as to work together
to contain the virus. There are rumor
that people with the disease have been trying to come for miracle in the Church
from some of the African Countries.
Director, Centre for
Disease Control (CDC) Prof. Abdulsalami Nasidi, said they are not in doubt
the power of God but they come seek for his working hand in hand to protect
both his member and everyone from the virus.
Pastor TB Joshua said:
I am ready to work with
you. I love my country and will be ready to work with you as there is need to
secure the environment.
U.S. Africa Summit
The United States of America has called all the head of states for3-Day-summit for all Africa to invest in US , that the want Africa
to have their companies in US. It is an opportunity to create a strong
relationship between US and the rest of Africa.
Central Africa
countries were not invited cos they are not in good stand with the US.
Liberia,Guinea and Sierra Leone are not invited cos of
the huge outbreak of the Ebola virus i guess. More than 50 head of State are present in the summit
Zimbabwe
are getting aggrieved as their president are not invited for the submit buy US.
Sierra leone has put a hold on their matches till further notice.
Sierra Leone participation
in the Africa cup if Nations, is in doubt as all football matches for the
country has been put on hold till further notice because of the Ebola virus outbreak .
EBOLA: Doctor who attended to the Liberian man with Ebola has contacted the virus.
Minister of Health, Professor
Onyebuchi Chukwu, has just confirmed that one of the doctors who
attended to Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian, who recently died of Ebola in
Nigeria, is now sick with the disease. Over 70 persons have been put under surveillance
and other 8 persons who came in contact with the Liberian either at the airport
or in the plane.
