During a meeting between the IGP, Suleimon Abba and the Chairman of the Independent National Electorial Commission INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega with all the political parties leaders/representatives in the State.
Jega said only the voter with PVC- Permanent Voters card can vote, just as it happened in the election held in Ekiti State. he said only 63voters have the PVC collected and those those that are yet to collect their should go to thier various Local government for the collection.
IGP.Suleimon Abbah said according to constitution non voters or voters that have voted are met to stay away from the pulling boot in 300metres radius.
He said anybody found want within the axis will be arrested, he further said any solicitor,exhibition of any party symbol,logo with the said area is a criminal offence even if the court have not pronouced the petson a criminal as he may be permitted to use the word criminal.
He said the same law prohibates the use of sierren, aide or escot to the pulling boot even the so called VVIP personal. Lottering around the axis too is part of the offence he mentioned.
He said the popular slogan that Police is your friend will really be portray and changed to police is your helper.
he guarranted maximum security and added the restriction of party agents and INEC official.
Most of the party representative spoje about the restriction in case of any fraudulent any and some asked questions about when some of the materials of the election will be given to them like the agent cards and so on.
