The new Emir of Kano, has been presented with the letter of Appointment.

The Letter of appointment of the new Emir has been presented confirming Emir Sanusi Lamido’s appointment by Gov. of Kano State, Governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso at the Government House, Kano.

Gov. Kwankwaso explained how the committee of kano Kingmakers presented the list of the three nominees to the tradition and the values and consideration of variables that destined by Allah that made Emir Sanusi Lamido the Emir.

Emir Sanusi  Lamido expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for choosing him to rule Kano state as the 14th emir and thanked the governor, the Kano kingmakers and all others that made the appointment possible.

All the Kano King makers, namely, Madakin Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani Cigari Ibrahim, Makaman Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Sarki Ibrahim, Sarkin Dawaki Maituta, Alhaji Bello Abubakar, the Sarkin Bai, Alhaji Mukhtari Adnan and the Senior Councilor of the Emirate Council, Wamban Kano Alhaji Abbas Sanusi attended the ceremony.

Other personalities who witnessed the well attended event are the Walin Kano, Alhaji Mahe Bashir, Senator Kabiru Gaya and APC chieftain, Malam Nasiru el-Rufa’i.
