The Student of LASU. Lagos State University thwart traffic today as they protest against Fees hike in the tuition fee, the fee was moved from N150,000:00 to N250,000:00 depending on their course.
The Student committed that they will not return to school until the hike in their tuition fee is reverse to N65,000.00 for fresh students and N46,300 from returning Students. they promised not to resume until the fee is reversed.
They also said they are in support of the increase but the increased should be seasonable. they also suggested N46,000.00 for returning students and N55,500.00 for fresh students.
Gov. Fashola said he has forwarded the the letter sent to him to a setup committee to look into it and the committee will come out with their conclusion. He said of their assertion for the their suggestions were wrong but with the outcome of the committee their issue will be resolved.
