End of the road: Super Eagles dreams finally ends by French
Super Eagles played with the French side at the 16 Round, they were knocked out of the competition with 2-0 win.
They played well... but their efforts didnt take them anywhere... many put the blame on some of our players for not playing like a team. Joseph Yobo score an own goal right in front of Vincent Enyeama... the Super Eagles made alot of saves but the pressure from the French was so much. immediately after the foul against the French Player on Onazi, which led to an injury and he was pulled out of the match the center-field of the Eagles was open.
Paul Pogba scored the first goal for the French at 79th minutes and the Second goal entered at the 90th minute by Uncle Yobo.

Gov. Okorocha was disgraced at Justice Oputa's funeral
The mass which was conducted by the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Rt Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oguta, went on smoothly until Okorocha was permitted by the Bishop to pay his tribute to late C. Oputa.
Charley Boy stopped Chief Okorocha in the middle of his speech, who was visibly unpleasant with the Bishop permitting the Governor to speak. He matched angrily to the altar and snatched the micro-phone from the Governor,It was a disgrace to the governor in the presence of digintaries.
Amongst the dignitaries present at the church service are President Goodluck Jonathan's representative the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Governors Willie Obiano (Anambra), Theodore Orji (Abia); the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha and former governors of Anambra State, Senator Chris Ngige and Mr Peter Obi respectively.
The present of the former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim,Senator Uche Chukwumerije and the Minister of Labour, Chief Emeka Wogu, the state Police Commsiioner, Almajid Ali and the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, for Oguta, Ikembuchukwu Abugu were also there.
Sources told Saturday Vanguard, however, that “the family never received a dime from either Okorocha or the state government, not to talk of the alleged N20 million said to have been made available to them,’’ as reported by a section of the media.

Muslims: Ramadan Begins today June 28
Ramadan moon was not sighted in the UAE and Saudi Arabia on Friday evening so the holy month will begin in the UAE and Saudi Arabia from Sunday.
The Saudi Supreme Court has confirmed that the holy month of Ramadan moon was not sighted today (Friday) so tomorrow (Saturday) is the last day of Shaabaan and Ramadan will begin on Sunday, June 29.
The UAE moon sighting committee has also confirmed that the holy month will begin on Sunday, June 29 but today in the early hours calls, messages and all broadcasted that the moon have been sighted the Ramadan starts today June 28, many has started the fasting.
