Former CBN Gov. Emir Sanusi Lamido withdraw suits against FG

The case involving Mallam Sanusi Lamido and the federal Government  over the undue suspension/removal of him in the office as the CBN Governor has been withdrawn.

The New Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi said he has withdrawn the case with no reason that his not interested in the case anymore.

 FG on Friday expressed doubt over the withdrawal of the suit filed by the new Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, challenging his suspension as the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria on February 20.

The FG expressed the doubt at the National Industrial Court, when its counsel, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), told the court that although he was not opposing Sanusi’s notice of discontinuance, the government was not sure of the former CBN governor’s next move.

Escape from the B/H's Incarcerated

According to report, Over 60 women and girls abducted last month by suspected Boko Haram militants in northeast Nigeria have escaped their captors.

The local vigilante group  senior Person, Abbas Gava said he had “received an alert from my colleagues … that about 63 of the abducted women and girls had made it back home” late Friday 5th July.

The Escape was confirmed by a high-level security source in the Borno state capital Maiduguri, who requested anonymity because he was not authorised to speak on the matter.

Abbas who are working closely with security officials, told journalists the women escaped when their captors went out to fight.

Suspected Boko Haram leader have been killed in kaduna

 Nigerian Army busted a hideout in Kinkinau, Kaduna state, where a suspected BokoHaram leader was hiding.
The suspect and his men were believed to have engaged security operatives in a gun battle that lasted over one hour but the leader was killed as he tried to flee scene.

The Security Operatives commanded everyone including his family members to vacate the building  before they broke through the wall to engage him. The suspect which they said his name is USMAN
 According to The Nation, the suspect is believed to be one of the leaders of the Islamist sect who relocated from Borno state to Kaduna.

Neymar ruled out of Brazil World Cup 2014 after been injured

After the injury sustained from the match between Brazil the host country and Colombia. The 22-year old striker sustained a major back injury which affected his spinal cord and needed serious attention. 
He was quickly taken out for immediate treatment and frown back home ( Sao paulo)  in an helicopter for quick recovery.

Gov. Fashola, I am waiting for formal report on the soldiers rampage over BRT buses

During an interview with the First Citizen of Lagos State, Gov. Raji Fashola about the incident on Friday with ChannelsTv, he said he was disappointed by the action and he is yet to know what really happened he also said:

"I spoke with the Brigadier General who said he was managing and controlling the situation. Nothing I have yet is verified. I am waiting for a formal report before we then can ventilate a position. There is allegation that somebody who was not supposed to be on the BRT route was on the BRT route. As far as I know if something happens to you while you are conducting an unlawful act, it's a criminal offense in its own sense. Its really disappointing to put it mildly that public servants, and that is what soldiers are, paid with tax payers money will act in a manner that is being suggested here, and I say this being suggested because I am waiting for official report to let me know really who played what role, what happened, whether or not even the brigade commander has been able to identify the people who were involved...but if it turns out to be true, it would be a very very irresponsible conduct to put it very mildly.

BRT bus just killed a soldier

Soldiers stormed Palm grove,Onipanu as a BRT bus just killed a soldier this morning ,beating the drivers including innocent passengers. 
Eyewitness said even onlookers are not spared, the BRT crushed the Soldier while riding his bike on the BRT lane.
 They have currently blocked a part of the road and are destroying any BRT bus in sight.
This has caused a lot of commotion and I hear other BRT drivers are not willing to leave the park, especially those plying that route. So a lot of passengers are likely to be stranded this morning. Avoid the route.
